The New Zealand Diploma in Business is a nationally recognised qualification that
comprises 12 papers of study. This qualification allows students to gain a broad range
of general business skills and knowledge, followed by an opportunity to focus on
career related options such as accountancy, banking, management, marketing and
tourism.

Each paper involves a minimum of 70 hours tuition spread over 7 weeks. Students are
expected to do a further 20 hours SDS per week to successfully pass each paper.

Career Paths

The qualification is offered by approved Tertiary Institutions in New Zealand and
receives enthusiastic support from industry groups such as the Institute of Chartered
Accountants and NZIM.

Cross Credit

Many universities will cross credit papers from the NZDipBus to university degree
courses. This means less time studying at university to obtain a degree. Our course
advisors can assist you to establish credit transfer to your chosen university.
