The GAC is a 30-week, 3 level, university foundation programme especially designed to meet the needs of international students wishing to gain entry into universities in USA, Australia, Canada, United Kingdom and New Zealand.
The curriculum focuses on gaining admission into undergraduate programmes. The GAC is a course based on skills and competencies needed to develop and assess the academic and study skills required for successful university study. You will learn essential skills such as report writing, how to study independently, and how to research a project efficiently and effectively. Successful graduates will be acceptable for university entry to courses in such fields as Information Technology, Business and Commerce, Law, Economics, Journalism and the Media, Applied Science and Technology, Humanities and Social Sciences.
The GAC program is ideal for international students wanting a wider choice of universities in which to study. Successful graduates will be recognised for entry into all universities in New Zealand and a range of universities in the USA, Australia, Canada, and United Kingdom.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
RPL can be granted at level one only. This means that you can shorten your studies if you can demonstrate you have completed equivalent competencies.
